What is Retinitis Pigmentosa?

Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is a group of inherited eye diseases where the light-sensing cells (rods and cones) in the retina gradually degenerate.
This leads to slow, progressive loss of vision — usually starting with night blindness and tunnel vision.

👉 But RP is not only about the eyes. It is a nerve degeneration disease. The same weakness that affects retinal nerves can silently affect other nerves of the body — brain, spinal cord, muscles, and peripheral nerves.

Complications if Untreated

If RP is not treated, it may lead to:

👉 Complete loss of peripheral vision
👉 Severe tunnel vision
👉 Eventual central vision loss
👉  Added complications like cataract or macular edema

Our Ayurvedic treatment for RP helps preserve and improve vision by slowing nerve degeneration and supporting natural retinal function.

RP shows that retinal nerves are degenerating, but remember:
👉Retina is part of the nervous system.

👉 If retinal nerves are weak, the same process may silently affect nerves in the brain, spinal cord, and body.

👉 That’s why our Ayurvedic approach focuses on healing the entire nervous system, not just the eyes — giving better long-term results.

Whole Body Connection – Nerve Degeneration

Root Cause & Ayurvedic Approach

Modern medicine says RP has no cure. But our Ayurvedic treatment for RP addresses the root cause:

👉 Improves micro-circulation to retina & nerves
👉 Nourishes and strengthens nerve cells (retina + body)
👉 Reduces oxidative stress and inflammation
👉 Supports rods and cones (light-sensing cells)
👉 Preserves vision, improves vision, and protects for the future

This provides a safe and natural alternative to hopelessness, giving patients real improvement and preservation of vision.
